James Ray "Tweet" Hearne

James Ray “Tweet” Hearne, 69, of Deputy passed away at 5:12 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison.

Born December 18, 1947 in Paris Crossing; the son of Ray and Emily Rhodus Hearne.

Mr. Hearne worked for the State Highway for four years and had also worked for the Hawkeye Hill Horse Farm in Commiskey.  He enjoyed horses, going to auctions and attending horse and car races.

Mr. Hearne is survived by his sisters, Brenda Barger of Commiskey and Mary Etta Steward and her husband Kenneth of Madison; three nephews; one niece and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Monroe Cemetery in Madison with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating.  Visitation will be held at 1:30 until time of Service in the Cemetery. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation services were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.  

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
