Barbara Jean "Barb" Inabnitt

Barbara Jean “Barb” Inabnitt, 79, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:18 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Majestic Care in North Vernon.

Born December 17, 1944, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Miller.

After graduating high school, Barb attended college for two years. She was an avid yardsaler and artist, and she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barb was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan Inabnitt and Lane Inabnitt, both of Phoenix, Arizona, and Justin (Amelia Davis) Inabnitt of Peoria, Arizona; daughters, Sheena Bates of New York, Kimberly Inabnitt and Dawn Inabnitt, both of Phoenix, Arizona, Gena (Dale) Roberts of North Carolina, and Shannon (J.C.) Kelley of North Vernon; sisters, Vivian Poteet of Phoenix, Arizona, Nancy Qualls of Indianapolis, and Vena Runyan of Tucson, Arizona; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Stiver.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

Memorial donations in honor of Barb may be made through the funeral home to the donor’s choice of organization.
