Ross Miller

Ross Miller, 36,  of North Vernon, IN passed away suddenly on Friday April 19th. 2024. He was born August 6th, 1987, to Sherri Fairbrother. He married Christina Oaks on July 28th, 2012. They have 5 children together that attend Jennings County schools. He had worked at Bessenger Ffamily LLC since 2019. 

He is survived by his wife, Christina Miller; their five children, Donovyn, Zakariah, Keagan, Mykenli, and Addalyn Miller; his mother Sherri (Will) Fairbrother; stepparents, Darrin and Arlene Proffitt; father-in-law, Roger (Lisa) Sears; mother-in-law, Kim (Dave) Sears; brother, Anthony (Alisha) Phillips; sisters, Tami Miller, Samantha Collins, Mary Sears, Shelby Bell, Amy (Isaiah) Schafstall, Mariah Russell, and Jessica Williams; grandfather, Connis Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Crawford, and his great-grandparents.

Ross was a wonderful man to anyone that had the pleasure to meet him. He never met a stranger and never met anyone he wasn't willing to give the shirt off his back for. He was a jack of all trades, learning many things in his life. With those skills, he was always the go to guy for everyone. Once you met Ross, you would gravitate towards him. You were family. His favorite passion was being a husband and father. He loved chasing his kids with their activities and being the team dad. From chasing cows to archery team set up, helping his son work on cars for school, to being the dance dad for all the girls at Shea Dance Studio. When he wasn't helping do those things; you could find him outdoors whether it be fishing, hunting, or manning the grill for family and friends. His favorite person in his life was his wife, Christina. They met in the first grade and from then on, it wasn't one without the other. Their love and commitment towards each other meant everything to everyone around them and gave hope to anyone that ever was blessed to meet them. 

The funeral service for Ross will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Ross for expenses.
