Anna Beam

Anna Beam, 86, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Majestic Care in North Vernon.

Born October 18, 1932 in Jennings County, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Christina Biehle Beam.

Miss Beam served as a homemaker and was a member of the Vernon Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed embroidery and making blankets.

She is survived by her brothers, Roy (Mim) Beam of California, Chester (Linda) Beam of North Vernon, and Dale (Karen) Beam of Camby; sisters, Wilma Graper and Clara (Charles) Clark, both of North Vernon, and Christina (Don) Jacobson of Westby, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Andrew and John Beam; and sister, Barbara Trowbridge.

A funeral service for Miss Beam will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Richard Burcham officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Vernon Presbyterian Church.
