Austin Welter Obituary

Austin David Welter, 20, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

 

Born October 28, 1997 in Seymour, he was the son of Bobby and Dusti (Bingham) Wood.

 

Mr. Welter attended Jennings County High School and worked for McDonalds in North Vernon and DSI Workshop in Scipio. He enjoyed watching both scary and comedic movies, coloring, working on jigsaw puzzles, playing video games, making his friends and family laugh, and food.

 

He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Dusti Wood of North Vernon; great grandmother, Shirley Pappas of Columbus; brother, Joseph Wood of North Vernon; and sisters Ciera (Cody) Copp and Bobbi-Jo Wood, both of North Vernon.

 

A funeral service for Mr. Welter will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Caleb Reynolds officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Smith-Dean Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to cover expenses.
