Beverly Kay (Sedam) Lee

Beverly Kay Lee, 73, of Butlerville passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Premier Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Born July 8, 1944, in Jennings County, Mrs. Lee was the daughter of Ernest Ray and Ruby Merle Kinnear Sedam. She married Joe Lee on June 1, 1962 at the Rush Branch Methodist Church in Jennings County. He survives.

Mrs. Lee was a 1962 graduate of Vernon High School in Vernon and was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of Graham Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women’s Mission Circle of the Church. Mrs. Lee enjoyed going out to eat, spending time with her family, flowers, hummingbirds and working crossword puzzles.

Surviving with her husband, Joe Lee are sons, Curtis (Sharon) Lee and Craig (Julie) Lee both of North Vernon; daughters, Kimberly (James) Reeves and Kristi Marsh both of Butlerville; brothers, Bernard (Virginia) Sedam of North Vernon and Richard (Linda) Sedam of Madison; sister, Marjorie Moore of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jamie Reeves of Butlerville, Jennifer (Charles) Rockey, Cassandra Lee, Kyle Lee, Derek Lee and Victoria Lee all of North Vernon and Kelsey Marsh of Madison and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother and sister, Larry and Marilyn Sedam; brothers, Robert and Harvey Sedam and sister, Jeanne Strope.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Graham Baptist Church in Jennings County with the Rev. Tom Mattingly officiating. Family and Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Graham Baptist Cemetery.
