Calvin K. Miller

Calvin K. Miller, 92, of North Vernon passed away at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Premier Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Mr. Miller was born June 16, 1925 in Ohio. He married Stella Speer Miller; she preceded him in death in 2015.

Mr. Miller served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked maintenance for EGE Electric in Ohio for several years. He was a member of the V.F. W. in Ohio. Mr. Miller enjoyed raising thoroughbred horses and horse racing.

He is survived by his step-son, David Foster of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Stella Miller.

In keeping with his wishes cremation is planned. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
