Cara Jo (Campbell) Griner

Cara Jo Campbell Griner, 43, of North Vernon passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born November 9, 1974 in Scottsburg, Ms. Griner was the daughter of Larry G. and Janice C. Tomlinson Campbell.

Ms. Griner was a graduate of Jennings County High School and worked as a waitress for TA (Travel Centers of America) in Seymour. She enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, cooking, baking, arts and crafts. Ms. Griner never met a stranger.

Survivors include her sons, Rian, Jadon and Isak Griner all of North Vernon; parents, Larry and Janice Campbell of North Vernon; companion, Chris Wingate of North Vernon; step-son Nick Wingate of Florida; brother, Jamie Campbell of North Vernon; special friend-like sister, Kim Vanosdol of North Vernon;

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Grace Tomlinson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, February 19, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Bear Creek Cemetery Fund.
