Cheryl Ann Boggs

Cheryl Ann Boggs, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born January 20, 1947 in Jennings County, Mrs. Boggs was the daughter of William and Audrey Hall Brown. She married Randy Boggs on July 30, 1967 at Graham Baptist Church; he survives.

Mrs. Boggs graduated from North Vernon High School in 1965. She was a homemaker and worked with ResCare for eight years. She enjoyed playing cards, watching movies, and spending time in Florida.

Surviving with her husband, Randy Boggs, are sons Jay (Margo) Boggs of North Vernon and Aaron (Amber) Boggs of Dupont; sisters Connie (Mike) Ochs, Diana (Tom) Taylor, and Nanette (Bob) Claghorn, all of North Vernon; grandchildren Janaye Day, Kholsyn Boggs, Randi (John) Hughes, Audrey Whitehead Boggs, and Kereaghan Boggs, all of North Vernon; and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Audrey Hall Brown.

A funeral service will be conducted for Mrs. Boggs at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Richard Burcham officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Lillian Carmer Scholarship Fund.
