Daniel Wayne "Dano" (Grider) Grider

Daniel Wayne “Dano” Grider, 41, of Butlerville, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in North Vernon.

Born May 28, 1977, in Seymour, Mr. Grider was the son of Joseph Daniel Grider and Judy (Ritchie) Swindall.

Mr. Grider was a self-employed plasterer and a foreman. He was a member of Plasterers Union. Mr. Grider enjoyed rocks, drawing, playing guitar, going hunting, fishing, canoeing, and camping.

He is survived by his sons, Landon Grider Dorsey  and Chadan Grider both of West Palm, Florida; father, Joseph (Charlene) Grider of North Vernon; mother, Judy Swindall of North Vernon; sister, Angela Bennett of North Vernon; adopted sister, Becky Machlan of North Vernon; step-brother, Johnny Dillon of Columbus; step-sisters, Diane Boardman of Palm Beach, Florida and Judy Collett of North Vernon; niece and nephew, Tesa Nichole Bennett and Tylor Bennett both of North Vernon; and his children’s mother, Charisma Bondonese of West Palm, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beulah Ritchie, Chester Ritchie and Edna Grider; cousin, Alex Taylor Schmidt; uncle, Robert Eugene Grider and aunt, Nancy Sue Grider.

A visitation of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
