Debby Margaret (Herrin) Herbert

Debby Margaret Herbert, 68, of North Vernon passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Majestic Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Born February 5, 1950, in Jessup, Georgia, She was the daughter of J.C. and Grace Herrin. She married Vincent Herbert in Tampa, Florida; He survives.

Mrs. Herbert graduated high school in Jessup, Georgia in 1968, she worked as a CNA at Community Care Center in North Vernon for four years and North Vernon Nursing Home. She enjoyed sleeping and drinking coca cola.

Surviving with her husband, Vincent Day of North Vernon; are son, Matthew (Christy) Batten of Jessup, Georgia; daughter, Dedria (Mark) Westberry of Jessup, Georgia; step-son, Ted Herbert of Butlerville; brothers, Douglas Herrin, Gary Herrin and Richard Herrin, all of Jessup, Georgia; sisters, Patty Laddell, Christine Lathrupp and Lucille Herron all of Jessup, Georgia; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Gray

In keeping with the family’s wishes cremation is planned. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
