Evalyn Marie Adams Holly, 101, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Indiana passed away on January 27, 2019, at the Habana Health Care Center in Tampa, Florida.
Born June 3, 1917 in Covington, Kentucky, the daughter of Rev. M.H. and Nellie Mulligan Adams. She married Rev. Grady Holly, he preceded her in death.
While she grew up in Indiana she spent her adult life in Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and she was a devout Christian. She was known for singing in churches and playing various instruments including the accordion.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail and her husband Lionel Garcia; sister, Donnabell; two nephews, James (Michele) and Robert (Rene) Adams; and two nieces, Glenda Adams and Vickie Spires.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Grady Holly; parents, Rev. M.H. & Nellie Adams; brothers, Johnny and Harry Jr. and sister, Avanell.
A graveside service for Mrs. Holly will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in the Union Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery in Ripley County. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
