Fayrine Finn, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away at 1:56 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Indianapolis.
Born February 8, 1928, in Yard, Texas, she was the daughter of Gaston and Ira (Davis) Bowman. She married George Edward Finn on October 20, 1962 in East St. Louis, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2001.
Mrs. Finn was a homemaker and a member and a former usher for New Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed going to BINGO and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, James W. (Barbara) Coleman, Indianapolis, Kenneth A. (Ruth) Finn of Madison, Wisconsin; daughter, Peggy (Bobby) Washington; grandchildren, Yulanda Outlaw of Merrillville, Indiana, James Coleman Jr. and Lance Coleman, Jenell (Johnathan) Burch, all of Indianapolis, Jamane (Latanya) Coleman of Van Cleave, Mississippi, Matthew Finn of Anoka, Minnesota, Remington Finn and Alexandrea Finn, both of Madison, Wisconsin; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; nephew(s) Raymond (Anna) Patterson, Indianapolis and Russell Stewart, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dimple Foster and Mary Gray; and nephew, Raymond Patterson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the New Baptist Church, 1211 Dr. Martin Luther King Street, Indianapolis, Indiana with the Pastor David L. Page officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the New Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
