Hazel Zuleme Campfield Goins, 80, of North Vernon passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.
Born July 28, 1937 in Jennings County, Mrs. Goins was the daughter of the late William Howard and Mary Ellen Robbins Campfield.
Mrs. Goins was a graduate of the Indiana School for the Blind in Indianapolis. She provided childcare for years for many families in Jennings County. She was a member of Butlerville Mennonite Church in Butlerville. Mrs. Goins enjoyed crocheting, quilting and needlepoint.
Survivors include her nieces and nephew, Gina “Jeannie” (Sam) Enrique of Laughlin, Nevada, Laura (Ron) Howell and Joyce (Doug) Heckert both of Indianapolis and David (Robin) Campfield of Snowflake, Arizona; great-nieces and nephews, Autumn Enrique, Malia Enrique and Jacob Enrique all of Laughlin, Nevada, Michael Enrique of Trinidad, Colorado, Michelle (Albert) Orr of Mooresville, Wayne (Jenny) Emberson of Plainfield, Matthew (Amanda) Emberson, of Amo, Rebecca (Dennis) Russell of Nineveh, Deborah Penn of Indianapolis, Vailia (Russell) From of California, Tavis (Luisa) Campfield, Ronita Campfield, Justin Campfield, Brandala Campfield, David Campfield, Jr., all of Arizona, Jason (Libby) Enrique of Seymour; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her four husbands, Lloyd “Pete” Christy, Harol Hubbard, Harold Bohanan and Beverly “Bev” Goins, her siblings, Sylvia Grapevine, Betty, Florence, Arthur, William Richard, Elmer and Lawrence Campfield.
A funeral service for Mrs. Goins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery in Vernon.
