Jenny Lynn (Wolf) Sweeney

Jenny Lynn Sweeney, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence.

Born July 28, 1954, in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harold E. Wolf and the late Mildred (Moeller) Wolf. She married Donald Sweeney on May 26, 1979 in Milwaukee; he survives.

Mrs. Sweeney graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Ferris State University in Michigan. She was employed as a senior executive administrative assistant with Eli Lilly in Indianapolis retiring on January 1, 2018. She was a member of the St John Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. Mrs. Sweeney enjoyed horseback riding, camping, traveling, Bible study and spending time with her family.

Surviving with her husband, Don Sweeney, are daughters, Nicole (Matthew) Branham of North Vernon and Jill (Ryan) Cook of Indianapolis; father, Harold Wolf of Seymour; brothers, Charles (Grace) Wolf of Mt. Clemens, Michigan and Michael (Karen) Wolf of Henderson, Nevada; grandchildren, Cora Branham, Luke Branham, Amy Branham, all of North Vernon and Evelyn Cook of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A memorial service for Mrs. Sweeney will be conducted at St. John Lutheran Church, 6630 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46203 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018. A visitation will be on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. John Lutheran Church, Indianapolis.
