Jerry Andrew "Andy" Johnson

Jerry Andrew “Andy” Johnson, 25, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:29 p.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Florida Hospital North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Born May 25, 1993 in Seymour, he was the son of Jerry Johnson and Stacey (Hendrix) McRoberts. He married Kalli (Vawter) Johnson on June 21, 2015 in Butlerville; she survives.

Mr. Johnson worked as a freelance mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mechanic work. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his kids.

Surviving with his wife, Kalli Johnson, are his parents, Jerry (Dawn) Johnson of Butlerville and Stacey (Bill) McRoberts of North Vernon; son, Kylan Brogan of Columbus; daughters, Tara Johnson and Krystal Johnson, both of North Vernon; brothers, Jesse Johnson of Butlerville, Dillon McRoberts of North Vernon, and Marc Mikesell of Kent; sister, Morgan (Terry) Conway of Sellersburg; grandparents, Jesse Johnson of Butlerville, Regina Righthouse of Borden, Terry Hauersperger, and Patricia and Bill Canary, all of North Vernon; and aunts and uncles, Gary and Carol Johnson of North Vernon, Tony and Kim Hendrix of Clayton, and Joey and Terry Hendrix of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, James Johnson; grandmother, Sandy Hauersperger; great-grandparents, Beryl and Wilma Lucas, Johnny Hauersperger, Gina and Andy Johnson, and Leroy and Bertha Lacey; and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for Mr. Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Rush Branch Cemetery.
