Jerry Kay Mack, 76, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at River Terrace Health Campus in Madison.
Born April 20, 1943, in Rushville, the daughter of Harvey and Thelma (Caswell) Griffin. She married Don Mack on February 15, 1964 in North Vernon; he preceded her in death on October 9, 2004.
Jerry was employed as a custodian for Jennings County Schools from 1996 until 2005 and worked as a custodian and in laundry at North Vernon Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Canaan. Jerry enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and attending auctions.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Richard Smith) Perry of Madison; companion, Ricky Dudgeon of North Vernon; grandchildren, Charlie Perry and Chasity Perry both of North Vernon; great-grandchildren, Cameron Woodward and Daniel Woodward both of Madison and Joleigh Birge of Dupont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sisters, Judith Mae Griffin and Freida Creel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, August 31st from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in the Dupont Cemetery.
