John Patrick “Pat” Jacobi, 52, of North Vernon passed away at 4:32 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.
Born September 30, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Vince L. Jacobi and the late Carole (Metcalfe) Ziegler.
Pat was a 1985 graduate of Jennings County High School and attended Ivy Tech for Electronics and Hydraulics. He worked for Harper Painting for three years and had previously worked maintenance for Metaldyne and N.V.I.C and was a truck driver for 20 years for IMR, all in North Vernon. Pat was a member of Micro Bikers Club in North Vernon. He enjoyed boating, water and snow skiing, fishing, motorcycles, playing guitar and his dog, Annie.
Survivors include sons, John Jacobi of North Vernon and Brandon Jones of Indianapolis; daughters, Ashly Jacobi of North Vernon and Brandi (Cory) Nolan of Indianapolis; father, Vince (Nancy) Jacobi of Louisville; companion, Elizabeth Robbins of North Vernon; brother, Billy (Hilary) Johnson of Batesville; sisters, Karen (Mike) Pedigo of North Vernon and Susie (Dee Tuttle) Johnson of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Ziegler; wife, Teresa Jacobi; brother, Jim Jones; and step-father, William A. Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Friday, November 30, 2018.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help set up college funds for his children.
