Joseph Hayes Roche' III

Joseph Hayes Roche' III, 76, of Butlerville, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his residence.

Born October 19, 1941, in Cambridge, Maryland, Mr. Roche' was the son of the late Joseph Hayes Roche, Jr. and Charlotte T. Kibler Roche. He married Barbara Ann (Gale) Stein on April 2, 1996 in Vernon, Indiana. She survives.

Mr. Roche' III, served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was a manager for Wheaton Industry, now known as Nipro Americas, in Westport for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving with his wife, Barbara Stein-Roche'; are daughters, Christine Cook of Skipwith, Virginia and Theresa Cramer of Dorchester, New Jersey;  a step-son, Robert Stein of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; sisters, Kaye Vanaman and Charlotte Taylor, both of Millville, New Jersey, and JoAnn Slimmer of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Tiffany Cook, Clarksville, Virginia, Courtney Cook of Oxford, North Carolina, and Michael Cook all of Skipwith, Virginia, Amanda Roche' and Bradi Cramer, both of Millville, New Jersey, and Kaytlin Morgan of Virginia; six great-grandchildren and a nephew, Brian Vanaman of Westport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joseph Hayes Roche' IV; sister, Cora Lou Miccolis, and granddaughter, Megan Cramer.

In keeping with his and the family’s wishes no services are to be held.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in his honor through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
