Judy Lane Kemp

Judy Lane Kemp, 77, of Madison, passed away at 2:13 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Kentucky One Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born June 30, 1941 in Indiana, Judy was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Biehle) Kemp.

Judy worked assembly for D.S.I. -Sandstone in Madison from 1987 until 2009. She enjoyed music, watching “I Love Lucy” and westerns, and reading books especially Chicken Noodle Soup books and books about famous people.

Survivors include her brother, Donald Kemp of Middletown; sisters, Melody (Danny) Schiller and Beulah Yeager, both of North Vernon, Barbara Boyd of Franklin, and Roberta Kemp of Richmond; and her guardian, Carrie Scherschel of Columbus.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Anna Mae Burkman and Mary Kemp.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Friends and Family may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 19, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the D.S.I. Emergency Fund.
