Kim S. (Fugate) Sanders

Kim S. Sanders, 66, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Majestic Health Care in North Vernon.

Born September 17, 1951, in Somerset, Kentucky, Ms. Sanders was the daughter of Henry and Olive G. (Gill) Fugate.

Ms. Sanders was a 1971 graduate of Jennings County High School and attended Spencerian Business College. She worked for Cibus Catering in Edinburgh; she previously worked in the dietary department at the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville and worked for Rose Acres Farms in North Vernon. Ms. Sanders enjoyed horses, University of Kentucky Basketball, watching westerns on TV and watching softball games at the North Vernon City Park.

Survivors include her sons, Tim Sanders and Joe (Amber) Sanders both of North Vernon; daughter, Becky (Clint) Laman of North Vernon; brother, Grey Fugate of North Vernon; sister, Beth (Kenny) Dewar of North Vernon; grandchildren, Kane Laman, Kadence Laman, Aiden Sanders and Whitley Sanders all of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robin Fugate.

Family and Friends may visit on Monday, August 27, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. The funeral service will be Private. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
