Lloyd Allen Dean Jr.

Lloyd Allen Dean Jr., 52, of Underwood, passed away at 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Born August 21, 1967 in Jackson County, he was the son of Lloyd Allen Dean Sr., and the late Mary Frances (Hock) Dean Wilkerson. He married Donna Glasson on November 2, 2016, in Edinburgh, she survives.

Lloyd has an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting and worked as a laser operator program supervisor for MA Metals in Edinburgh. He attended Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. He enjoyed riding his Harley, and spending quality time with family and friends. He had a good heart and soul, loved taking care of others and had the Nickname of “Hulk”.

Surviving with his wife, Donna Dean, are his daughters, Xanadu (Josh) White, Alyssa (Luke) Miller, and Ashley Dawn Burton all of Columbus and Kayla Ann Burton of Underwood, father Lloyd (June) Dean, Sr. of Lewisburg, Ohio; sisters, Michelle (Luke) Probst of Columbus and Emily Dean of Lewisburg, Ohio; grandchildren, Kyleigh Dover, Logan Dean and Amberlee Bruce all of Columbus; nephew, Brady Probst of Columbus and aunts, Nettie (James) Malcomb of Lovett and Janice Grimes of Hanover.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Dean Wilkerson; son, Derik Allen Dean.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Scipio.
