Mary "Jeani" (Nall) Worrell

Mary “Jeani” Worrell, 61, of North Vernon passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born May 14, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, Jeani was the daughter of the late Wilbert Earl and Alice Virginia O’Bryan Nall. She married Charles “Chuck” Worrell on July 12, 1980, at the First Christian Church in North Vernon; he survives.

Jeani was a 1975 graduate of Jennings County High School and was a cheerleader for 6 years during middle and high school. She worked as a Client Service Representative for Old National Bank in North Vernon from 1998 until present and had previously worked as a supervisor for Salin Bank in Columbus for nine years, IGA and Just Rite Supermarkets both in North Vernon.  She was a member of First Christian Church in North Vernon and enjoyed watching NASCAR, flowers, gardening, swimming in her pool and spending time with her grandkids, doing painting by number and was a Indianapolis Colts football fan.

Surviving with her husband, Chuck Worrell, are sons, Alex (Megan) Worrell of North Vernon and Todd (Bonnie) Worrell of New Castle; brothers, Bill (Teresa) Nall of Greensburg and Mark (Mary) Nall of North Vernon; sister, Cyndie (Dan Roell) Nall of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Madelyn Worrell, Luke Worrell, Zoey Worrell, Olivia Worrell, Grace Worrell, and Caleb Worrell, all of North Vernon, and Cayson Worrell and Makinley Worrell, both of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pegi Nall; and brother, Timothy Nall.

A funeral service for Jeani will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Ron Bridgewater officiating. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the First Christian Church of North Vernon.
