Penny Ann Reamer

Penny Ann Reamer, 53, of North Vernon passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born March 9, 1965 in Kentucky. She married James Reamer on July 6, 1990, in Ashland, Kentucky. He survives.

Mrs. Reamer worked as a CNA at Dillsboro Nursing Home and Jennings County Health Care. She attended 6 years of college at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky where she studied Phlebotomy. Mrs. Reamer enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching crime shows, and soap operas. She really loved spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving with her husband, James “Old Man Reamer”,  are children, Johnathan Young of Norwalk, Ohio; Jessica Young of Ohio, Amanda (Jacob) Riffel of North Vernon, James Reamer Jr of North Vernon and Crystal Reamer of Aurora; brothers, John Hillis of Burling Heights, Ohio and Mike Cocho of West Virginia; sisters, Linda Turner of West Virginia and Amy Reitzel of North Carolina; grandchildren, David “Scooter” Burton of Indianapolis, Emberly Riffel, Haley Young-Riffel, Paisley “Pay Pay” Young-Riffel, Brianna Riffel, all of North Vernon and many other grandkids; sister-in-law, Jackie Deckard of Moores Hill; nieces, April Tichenor and Brandy Webster both of Moores Hill and many other nieces and nephews and best friend, Iletta Johnson of Ohio.

A funeral service for Mrs. Reamer will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Mike Biggs officiating. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Oak Dale Cemetery in Dillsboro.
