Robin Leann (Russ) Riffel

Robin Leann Riffel, 19, of North Vernon passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Born October 5, 1998, in Columbus, Mrs. Riffel was the daughter of Robert Russ and Tammy Banks. She married Kasen Riffel on October 8, 2016, at Muscatatuck Christian Ranch in North Vernon. He survives.

Mrs. Riffel worked in the kitchen at Premier Health Care Center in North Vernon.  She was a member of State Street Community Worship Center in North Vernon. She enjoyed riding horses, watching races and hunting coons.

Surviving with her husband, Kasen Riffel are a daughter, Americus Riffel of North Vernon; father, Rob Russ of North Vernon; mother, Tammy Banks of North Vernon; brother, Robbie Russ of North Vernon; sisters, Hannah Riffel, Hailey Russ, Lynnette Larabee, and Shaunee Ruark all of North Vernon and Sarah Ritchie of Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Louie McRoberts; uncle, Don Russ; grandparents, Sandy Nantz, Robert J. Russ and Julie Fugate.

A funeral service for Mrs. Riffel will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017, at the State Street Community Worship Center in North Vernon with the Rev. Michael Biggs officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, November 27, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Church. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
