Timothy Edward Carter

Timothy Edward Carter, 52, of North Vernon passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his residence.

Born May 20, 1965, in Seymour, Mr. Carter was the son of Charles Carter and Jewell Green Beech-Trisler.

Mr. Carter was a 1983 graduate of Austin High School in Austin and served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Carter worked construction for Beech Lumber Construction. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being outdoors.

Mr. Carter is survived by his sons, Shawn Carter of Scottsburg and Seth Carter of Lexington; his parents, Charles (Nancy) Carter of Crothersville and Jewell (Mark) Beech-Trisler of Crothersville; sister, Tammy Killey of Scottsburg and step-brothers, Andy (Shanda) Beech of Butlerville and Tony Beech of Columbus and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Shane Carter.

A graveside service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Otter Creek Cemetery in Jennings County with the Rev. Richard Burcham officiating. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
