William “Bill” Marshall Hedrick Jr., 63, of Butlerville, passed away at his residence on October 23, 2019.

Born August 18, 1956, in Brazil, Indiana, he was the son of William M. Hedrick Sr. and Ellen Thomas Hedrick O’Connor.

Bill graduated from high school in 1974 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 1974 until 1975. He had worked for Injection Mold Inc. in North Vernon for one year as a press operator and had also worked for Sirloin Stockade in Columbus as a baker for many years. He loved dogs.

He is survived by his step-father, Harold (Mary Davidson) O’Connor; brother, Shaun (Kristie) Asbury of Butlerville; and sisters, Laura Church of Terre Haute and Bobbie Harless of South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation is planned with burial at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made in honor of Bill through the funeral home for expenses.
