William Edward "Bill" Garrity, 72, of Commiskey, Indiana passed away at 10:28 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at his residence. Bill was born February 19, 1939 in Jennings County, Indiana the son of Edward Adair and Ires Taylor Garrity. He married Linda Sue Millspaugh on October 18, 1992, in Seymour, Indiana. She survives. Bill was a truck driver for 38 years driving for Grammer Industries in Grammer, Indiana, and St. John's Trucking in North Vernon, Indiana and driving for Eddie Maschino Farms. He was a 1956 graduate of Paris Crossing High School and a member of Weston Baptist Church. His enjoyments were singing, playing guitar, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Linda Garrity of Commiskey, Indiana; sons, Montie Bill Michelle Garrity of Amarillo, Texas, Cody Bill Garrity and Mike Mary Garrity both of Hart, Texas and Robert Franks of Seymour, Indiana; daughters, Rebecca Bobby Vigil, Cindy Larry Davis and Shannon Bailey all of Amarillo, Texas and Lisa Lee Booker of Bedford, Indiana; sister, Wilma Binford of North Vernon, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nephews, Jim Binford of Breckinridge, Colorado and Joe L. Binford of Madison, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Danny Corbin officiating. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Tea Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jennings County, Indiana. Memorials may be made through the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services to Weston Baptist Church, Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Paris Crossing Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
