Willow Hope Jacobs, 18-month-old daughter of Bobby and Lesley (Dickinson) Jacobs of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
She was born on February 20, 2018, in Columbus, Indiana.
Willow did gymnastics and enjoyed attending Cub Scouts with her brother. She also enjoyed the book club at the Jennings County Library.
Surviving with her parents, Bobby and Lesley Jacobs, are her brother, Chance Jacobs of North Vernon; grandparents, Brad and Sandy Jacobs and David and Linda Dickinson, all of North Vernon; great-grandparents, Joann Dickinson of North Vernon and Pauline Combest of Westport; uncle, Brandon (Cassie Wagers) Jacobs of North Vernon; and aunt and uncle, Tobie and Alanna Dickinson of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Kianna Dickinson; grandmother, Rebecca Day; and great-grandparents, Jerry and Faith Jacobs, Josirah Combest, Charles Dickinson, Richard Ayers, and Jack Sullivan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dan Corbin officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Cana Cemetery in Jennings County.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the First Christian Church in Columbus.
