Albert Lee Sharp Sr., 84, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:03 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Our Hospice in Columbus.
Born May 18, 1941, in Delmar, Kentucky, he was the son of Ralph Sharp and Sceleda (Wooldridge) Sharp.
Albert served in the U.S. Marines from 1958 to 1962. He retired from Coil Supply in Seymour in 2005 after 20 years as foreman for steel processing. Prior, Albert worked as foreman for Triad Steel for 20 years in North Vernon. He enjoyed working, riding his motorcycle, doing puzzles, target practice, and watching westerns.
Survivors include daughters, Allison (James Foster) Sharp, Heather Sharp, both of North Vernon, Janie (Billy) Asbury of Columbus; Stepdaughter, Keri (Dave) Scudder of North Vernon; Son, Albert “Lee” Sharp Jr. of Plainfield; brothers, Amos (Charlene) Sharp, of North Vernon, Bill (Karen) Sharp and Mark (Cindy) Sharp, both of Tennessee, and Paul (Carla) Sharp of North Vernon; sister, Eva Vawter of North Vernon, and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Michael Sharp; brothers, Kenneth “Bud” and Jerry Z. Sharp; and sister, Barbara Godsey.

Visitation will be held for Albert on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel, where a closing prayer will take place at 7:00 p.m. Burial to follow at a later date.
Memorials may be made in honor of Albert through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana in Columbus.
