Amanda Jo Callahan-Booker, 47, of Columbus, passed away on March 11, 2021 in Columbus.
Born January 7, 1974, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Billy Callahan and the late Chriss (Day) Callahan.
Amanda was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed, listening to music, playing sports, being in the woods. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Desiree (Kylie Day) Booker of Columbus; father, Billy Callahan of Columbus; ex-husband, Montell Booker of Seymour; sister, Dawnya (Larry) Ward and Nikki Wilson, both of Columbus; nephews, Raven Wilson and Camden Lay, both of Columbus; nieces, Haley Bowman and Cheynne Wilson, both of Columbus; and great-nephew, Gannon Bowman of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Chriss Callahan; her son, Donavon Booker; nephew, Austin Bowman; and great-niece, Kayydence Mings.
A funeral service for Amanda will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2021, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made in honor of Amanda through the funeral home for expenses or the Goodwill Store in Columbus.
