Amanda Nicole Hale-Vogel, 41, of North Vernon, passed away at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at her home.
Born September 2, 1981, in Salem, she was the daughter of Penny Franklin Crockett. She married Vincent Vogel on August 20, 2005, at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge in Jennings County; he survives.
Amanda was a 2000 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. She worked at the Seymour Wal-Mart as a dairy manager for several years and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed animals, fishing, shooting guns, playing Yahtzee, and talking to her friends.
Surviving with her husband, Vincent, are her children, Colton and Hattie Vogel of North Vernon; mother, Penny (Kevin) Crockett of Clearspring; sisters, Tori (Rob) Ault of Cortland and Amy (Trent Kirts) Franklin of Brownstown; grandparents, Linda Franklin of Scottsburg, Elizabeth Marcott of Clearspring, and Ramona Kleber of Scipio.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Warren Franklin.
Funeral Service for Amanda will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services.Visitation will be from 2 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022, and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday morning. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Hayden, IN.
In honor of Amanda, the family has requested that casual clothing be worn.
