Amber Mae (Westerman) Jones

Amber Mae Jones, 37, of North Vernon, passed away at her sister’s home on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 6:47 a.m.

Born July 29, 1986, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Patricia (Fields) Westerman and the late John Westerman.

Amber worked in material handling at Toyota in Walesboro for three years and had also worked at AAM in North Vernon and for Help at Home. She was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church. She loved listening to music and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Alexzander Jones of North Vernon; daughter, Amari Grace Jones of North Vernon; sisters, Stacy (Terry) Roark and Sonya Neff, both of North Vernon, and Shelly (Roberto Zavala) Dierkes of Madison; companion, Joshua Jones of North Vernon; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Tiffany Westerman; and her brother, Jason Westerman.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with a closing prayer to be held at 4:00 p.m.

Donations may be made in honor of Amber through the funeral home to help with expenses.
