Andy Lee Edgar

Andy Lee Edgar, 55, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his residence.

Born September 21, 1969, in Ozark, Alaska, the son of Darrell and Florence (Campbell) Edgar.

Andy was a 1987 graduate of Pleasant View High School in Mulberry, Alaska. He worked at J&L Sporting Goods as an Archery/Bow Tech, construction work and retired from Toyota in Walesboro after 20 years. He was a member of Freedom Hunt and Hunter’s Education at DNR. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy, working on cars, playing guitar and golfing, He loved being a grandpa and spoiling his grandchildren, and helping anyone with anything.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Edgar of North Vernon; sons, Casey Edgar, Dylan (Tia) Edgar, Nicholes Edgar and Nathan Edgar, all of North Vernon; daughter, Andi (Pete) Crater of North Vernon; five brothers; four sisters; and grandchildren, Noah Crater, Sofia Crater, Emily Crater, Madelyn Edgar, Keylan Hayes, Lucy Crater and Isabelle Hayes all of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service for Andy will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. The visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Andy for funeral expenses.
