Anthony Harvey "Tony" Rogalski

Anthony Harvey “Tony” Rogalski, 80, of North Vernon, Indiana, formerly of Roseville, Michigan, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, Indiana.

Tony was born on April 16, 1945, in Warren, Michigan, and was the son of the late Anthony Thaddius and Laura (Tacia) Rogalski. He married Joan Hopkins on August 22, 1964, at the Warren Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan; she survives.

Tony was a 1963 graduate of Lincoln High School in Roseville, Michigan. He worked as a plumber/pipefitter safety trainer for General Motors in Warren, Michigan before he retired after 35 years. Tony previously worked for Detroit Ball Bearing, Ford Motor Company and Edison Power and Electric, all in Michigan. He was a former member of the Lions Club in Capac, Michigan where he once served as the Governor, a former member of Capac Methodist Church in Capac, Michigan, and a member of the U.A.W. Union. Tony enjoyed working and fishing.

Surviving with is his wife of 61 years, Joan; is his son, Anthony James (Meghan) Rogalski of John’s Creek, Georgia; his daughters, Deborah (Jeff) White of Canton, Georgia, Wendy (Barry) Piccirillo of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Rebecca (Richard) Sochacki of North Vernon, Indiana; brothers, Allen (Nancy) Rogalski of Warren, Michigan and Brian (Sue) Rogalski of Lincoln, Michigan; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service for Tony will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Capac United Methodist Church in Capac, Mussey Township, Michigan with the Rev. Lisa Clark officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the church. The burial will follow the service in the Capac United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana with the assistance of Kaatz Funeral Home in Richmond, Michigan.
