Asa Elaine Jo Ramey

Asa Elaine Jo Ramey, two month old daughter of Valaree Alaine (Assmann Whitehead) and Taylor Andrew Ramey of Commiskey, passed away at home on January 25, 2021.

Asa was born on November 27, 2020, in Seymour. She is survived by her parents; brothers, Daylon Maschino, Silas Ramey, and Mark-Rainer Ramey, all of Commiskey; sister, Aubree Ramey of Commiskey; and grandparents, Scott (Billie Jo) Ramey of Columbus, Amy Boswell, Shannan (Glen) Matern, and Sallie Emily, all of North Vernon, Robert and Karen Boswell of Butlerville, and Gary (Samatha) Whitehead of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mark Assmann.

Asa loved to snuggle on her parents’ chests, watch her family, and listen to Led Zeppelin.

A private funeral service is to be held, with burial at Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Paris Crossing. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon was entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Asa’s honor through the funeral home to help with expenses.
