Barbara Jean (Owens) MIller

Barbara Jean Miller, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:41 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

Born August 13, 1956, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Ralph Cecil and Georgia Pauline (Price) Owens. She married Doug Miller on March 23, 1975 in Hayden; he survives.

Barbara was a homemaker and housewife who enjoyed riding horses, singing, collecting Elvis memorabilia and rooster items, and she loved taking care of animals.

Surviving with her husband, Doug is her son, Todd Owen of Butlerville; daughter, Shelley (Terry) Easter of North Vernon; brothers, Ralph (Connie) Owens of North Vernon and Terry Owens of Seymour; and grandchildren, Mikala Owens and Shelbie Stice, both of North Vernon, Mason Griffith and Shandi (Logan) Allen, both of Seymour, Anthony Stice of Columbus and Patrick (Ashley) Easter of Scipio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Thursday, May 27, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
