Benjamin Charles Taylor

Benjamin Charles Taylor, 39, of Seymour, passed at 2:51 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Michigan City, Indiana.

Born August 28, 1985, in Columbus, he was the son of Michael Lynn Taylor and Robin Lynn Hanlon. He married Toni Ruddick on November 2008, in Jackson County, she preceded him in death on June 24, 2019.

Benjamin enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his friends and family, and loved nature.

Survivors include his children, Hunter Taylor, Evan Ingalsbe, and Kaydee Ruddick, all of Seymour and Mason Street of Illinois; father, Michael Taylor of Columbus; mother, Robin Hanlon of Seymour; brother, Michael Taylor of Seymour; sister, Julia (Travis) Morgan of Orleans; half-brother, Daniel Combs of Seymour; and half-sister, Kiara Taylor of Indianapolis.

A funeral service for Benjamin will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with Rev. Keith Ross officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, from 3:00 p.m.  until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Benjamin through the funeral home for expenses.
