Betty Sue Hybarger, 79, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:17 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020, at her residence.
Born June 10, 1941, in Hazard, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Irvin and Viola (Lewis) Campbell. In September of 1972 she married William “Bill” Hybarger in Columbus; he preceded her in death on March 21, 2013.
Betty worked the assembly line for Dorel in Columbus before retiring. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and television, and loved being around her family especially her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her children, Jeff (Elaine) Taylor of Columbus, Scott (April) Taylor, and Tanya Begley, both of North Vernon, Ryan (Donna) Harnish of Indianapolis, and Tammy (John) Plaster of Fort Meyers, Florida; siblings, Lois Jean Bailey, of North Vernon, Kat (Ed) Fields of Kentucky, Don (Peggy) Campbell and Charlie (Joyce) Campbell, both of North Vernon; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; siblings, Madalyn Campbell, Art Campbell, Ruth Downs, James Campbell and George Campbell.
A funeral service for Betty will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
