CJ Foy, 60, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his residence.
CJ was born January 9, 1960, in Shreveport, Louisiana to James Foy Jr. and “Nanny” Woolsey.
CJ was a “jack of all trades” helping anyone he could help fix their homes, roofs, vehicles, or anything else important to them. CJ enjoyed helping people, fishing, and race cars. He worked 15 years as a tool and die welder for Lone Star Tool & Die. He attended Trinity Full Gospel of North Vernon.
CJ was preceded in death by his parents.
CJ is survived by a large family, his wife, Michelle (Baker) Foy; brother in law John (Teresa) Raymer of North Vernon, Indiana; six children, Christopher Foy, Ander Foy, and Bradley Foy, of Bossier City, Louisiana, Jesse (Krissy) Seavolt, Kristie Seavolt and James Seavolt of Taylor, Texas; grandchildren, McKenzie Foy, and Nicholas Foy, of Bossier City, Louisiana, Destanie Seavolt, Coby Tucker, Garrison Seavolt, of Taylor Texas; and multiple nieces and nephews including, Dimitri Baker of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Johnter Raymer, and Brandy Stark of North Vernon, Indiana.
CJ is also survived by a close sibling group including, Melba Baker, AJ (Debbie) Foy, Mavis Davis, Marilyn (Kenneth) Kohf, RJ Foy, and Dooley Foy. The Foy family lives in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Services will be held at a later date in Bossier City, Louisiana. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana were entrusted to the care of local arrangements.
Memorials may be made in honor of CJ through the funeral home to Trinity Full Gospel in North Vernon.
