Candy Jane (McGuire) Caudill

Candy Jane Caudill, 68, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Born March 7, 1953, she was the daughter of Alvin W. McGuire Sr. and Helen A. (Perdue) McGuire. She married William Caudill on June 19, 1971, in Brewersville; he preceded her in death on January 24, 2021.

Candy retired from nursing and was a member of Trinity Full Gospel in North Vernon and Hayden Chapter #253, Order of the Eastern Star in Hayden. Candy loved flowers and her cats.

Survivors include her sons, Dan (Joyce) Caudill of Kentucky and Casey (Annette) Caudill of Brewersville; brother, John McGuire of Georgia; grandchildren, Brittany Sanders and Daniel Caudill, both of Columbus, Kelsie Caudill and Katie (Michael) Edwards, both of Westport and Jacob Caudill of Brewersville and great-grandchildren, Xander Edwards and Bellamy Jade Edwards, both of Westport.

was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, brothers, Nathan and Alvin McGuire Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Howard.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes cremation is planned with no service to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
