Carl Leo Bradley Sr., 87, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.
Born July 28, 1937, in Somerset, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Lester and Rosella (Dykes) Bradley, he married Alma Harp on May 7, 1960, in Greenfield, Indiana; she survives.
Carl worked as a welder for Arvin's Industries in Columbus, Indiana, retiring after 45 years retiring in 2002. He enjoyed fishing.
Surviving with his wife, Alma; are his sons, Carl Leo (Debbie Lewis) Bradley Jr of Indianapolis, Indiana and Anthony Steven “Tony” Bradley of Greenwood, Indiana; brother, Hank Bradley of Somerset, Kentucky; sisters, Midge (Herman) Placki, Rosalean Evans, Wilena Brown and Molly Morgan, all of Somerset, Kentucky; grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Gibson of Paragon, Indiana, Jessica (Joe) Kwisz of Bainbridge, Indiana, Breanna (Tyler) Shoffner of Stilesville, Indiana, Tony Bradley and Jacob Bradley both of Greenwood, Indiana and Susan Earnest of Indianapolis, Indiana; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carlotta June Goens; brother, Delano Bradley; sister Bertean Chaney; and grandson, Duane Goens.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana. Burial will be in Somerset, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made in honor of Carl though the funeral home to State Street Community Worship Center.
