Carole Lee (Williams) Boardman

Carole Lee Boardman, 89 of Minnesott Beach, NC died August 23, 2025, at home with her daughter Traci Bearhope and her husband Scott Bearhope by her side.

She spent 30 years of her life working at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center.

She attended St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Oriental, NC.

Carole loved watching professional football, college basketball and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a huge fan of Joe Montana, Peyton Manning and Bobby Knight.

She was one of nine children to Lester and Mildred Williams.

Surviving with her daughter are her sister Mary Phau of Noblesville, and 3 sons, Jeff Post (Jeanie) of Seymour, John Post of Vernon and Eric Boardman (Diana) of Hobe Sound, Fl. and 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Hahn, her mother and father and 7 brothers and sisters.

There will be a public graveside service at 11:00 am on September 27, 2025, at Vernon Cemetery.
