Charles Leland Hendrickson, 69, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in North Vernon.
Born June 25, 1956, in North Vernon, he was the son of Charles Leo Hendrickson and Myrtle (Clark) Watts. Charles married Robin Bovard on December 19, 1978, in North Vernon; she survives.
Charles attended Jennings County High School and worked at Onspot Traction, where he spent several years welding before retiring in 2023. He previously worked for Arvins in Columbus for several years and was also a carpenter. Charles enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Surviving is his wife; son, Chad (Amy) Hendrickson of North Vernon; mother, Myrtle Watts, of North Vernon; Sister, Annie (Herbert) Roe; grandchildren, Kayden, Alexis, and Deegan Hendrickson, all of North Vernon; and great-grandchild, Adrian Hendrickson of North Vernon.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, his son, Charles Hendrickson; and brother, Abe Hendrickson.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no services planned at this time.
