Cheryl Ann (White) MacCormack

Cheryl Ann MacCormack, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born January 2, 1959, in Iserlohn, Germany, she was the daughter of the late William and Daisy (Parker) White. She married David MacCormack on September 12, 2009, in Columbus; he survives.

Cheryl graduated from John Diefenbaker Secondary School in Hanover, Ontario in 1976. She worked at Goodwill in North Vernon for 10 years and at Amos Hill in Edinburgh as a machine operator. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing on the computer.

Surviving with her husband are her sons, Jason (Leona) Brown of Edinburgh and Michael MacCormack of North Vernon; daughters, Amanda (Gary) Knoef of Columbus and Brittney MacCormack of Seymour; brothers, Keith White and Gary White, both of Durham, Ontario; sisters, Debbie (Andy) Brown of Durham, Ontario and Linda (Warren) Buckle of Auckland, New Zealand; and grandchildren, Cole Hopkins, Mason Hopkins, and Ethan Knoef, all of Columbus, Kyetilyn Brown and Lena Brown, both of Louisville, Kentucky, and Kimberly MacCormack of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service for Cheryl will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.
