Christina Ann Tina (Maloy) Reed

Christina Ann “Tina” Maloy Reed, 56, of Brownstown, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

Born January 7, 1966, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lee Maloy and Janice Arletta (Fox) Bray. She was married to Wesley Reed for 22 years. 

Tina was a 1983 graduate of Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar and worked in home health care for DSI in Seymour. She enjoyed playing cards, hiking, being outdoors, water and going to beaches, gardening, fishing, and traveling. Tina especially loved spending time with her people.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Moody of Lawrence, Kansas; daughters Natasha (Chris) Reed of Auburn, Kansas, and Chelsea Reed of Crothersville; brothers, Robert (Pam) Maloy of Seymour and Jamie (Julie) Bray of Nashville; sisters, Betty Maloy of Trafalgar, Pamlea (Popi) Eggers of London, Kentucky and Brittanie (Chad) Lee of Nashville; grandchildren, Kirstin, Adam, Rosalyn and Lexi; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepparents, Barbara Maloy and Jim Bray and brother, Richard Lee “Ricky” Maloy.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery.
