Christopher David Comer

Christopher David Comer, 46, of North Vernon passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his residence.

Born November 19, 1970 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; the son of David Lloyd Comer and Diane Helle Clark.

Mr. Comer was a graduate of Lawrence County High School in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and 2006 graduate of Alternatives for Health in Columbus, Indiana. Mr. Comer worked as massage therapist and worked for Health Centered Spine and Wellness in Seymour, Indiana and was owner of Helpful Touch Massage LLC in North Vernon, Indiana. He enjoyed cooking, golf, camping, watching Oakland Raiders football, and spending quality time with his two sons. 

Survivors include his sons, Jacob and Matthew Comer both of North Vernon; parents, David Lloyd Comer of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Diane (Kelly) Clark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; step-son Blake (Tammy) Sovern of North Vernon; step-daughter, Tiffany Waggoner of North Vernon; aunt and uncle, Tony and Betsy Bishop of Spring Hill, Tennessee and cousins, Michael (Jennifer) Bishop of Spring Hill, Tennessee and David (Lihong) Bishop of La Vergne, Tennessee. Chris also leaves behind numerous great friends in both Tennessee and Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lloyd and Velma Comer of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Two memorials will be held. A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, Indiana. A second memorial will be announced at a later date to be held in southern Tennessee.
