Christopher Lynn Himelrick

Christopher Lynn Himelrick, 51, of North Vernon passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at his residence.

Born October 22, 1968, in Seymour, Christopher was the son of Jerald L. and Patricia Joan (Eberts) Himelrick.

Christopher was a 1988 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked for North Vernon Taco Bell for six months and was a cook and helped with cleaning for Kentucky Fried Chicken for seven and a half years before leaving in 2011. He was a member of Worship Center in Butlerville and a former member of Tabernacle Apostolic Ministries in Seymour and the Sons of America in Seymour. Christopher enjoyed fishing and hiking.  

Survivors include his brother, Randy Himelrick of Greensburg; and sister, Sandy (Bryan Streit) Himelrick of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Craig Allen Himelrick; and sister, Melissa Suzanne Himelrick.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Family and Friends may call at the cemetery on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Christopher through the funeral home for expenses.
