Claudia Ann (Simeck) Lynch

Claudia Ann Lynch passed away on June 17, 2026, at Majestic Care in North Vernon, Indiana. 

She was born on September 10th, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. Claudia was the daughter of Charles Elmer Simeck and Gladys Opal Simeck of Hazel Park, Michigan.

Claudia worked as a soda jerk and switchboard operator in Detroit, Michigan and at Campfield’s in Seymour, Indiana, Arvin’s and Walmart in North Vernon, Indiana and retired from Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville, Indiana.  Claudia enjoyed crafts, walking her dogs, and watching football.

Claudia is survived by three brothers, Daniel (Mavis) Simeck, David (Marlene) Simeck and Charles Michael (Tina) Simeck. She had four children, Douglas (Toni) Lynch, Lori (David) Holton, Lonnie (Angela) Lynch and Greg (Peggy) Lynch. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, great-grandson, Austin Yeager; and nephews, Brian and Edward Simeck.

In keeping with Claudia and her family’s wishes, cremation was planned and no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials in honor of Claudia may be made through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue and Adoption Inc.
