Connie Lynn (Gambrel) Starnes

Connie Lynn Starnes, 47, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:38 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, at her residence.

She was born on February 6, 1973, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Tommy and Hazel (Bays) Gambrel. She married Frank Starnes on August 25, 1990, in North Vernon; he survives.

Connie was a housewife and had worked for ComponX and C.E.W. in North Vernon. She enjoyed DJ Stars Radio, spending time with her family and her Facebook friends.

Surviving with her husband, Frank, are her children, Natasha Starnes and Megan Starnes, both of North Vernon, and Dustin Gambrel of Butlerville; parents, Tommy and Hazel Gambrel of Butlerville; siblings, Tim (Sherry Branham) Gambrel, Trish Wells and Tommy (Candy) Gambrel, all of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her children, Katie and Stephen Starnes.

A funeral service for Connie will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, July 31st from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery in Jennings County.
